Mark your calendars! The Nintendo Switch 2 is slated for release on June 5, 2025, with a price tag of $450 for the standalone console. There's also a bundle option available for $500, which includes a digital copy of the new Mario Kart game, Mario Kart World.

Design and Display

The Switch 2 maintains a similar aesthetic to the original, but with a sleeker design and a larger display. Expect a 7.9-inch 1080p display with a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR compatibility. When docked, it'll support up to 4K output at 120Hz with variable refresh rates.

Joy-Cons and Pro Controller
