Google's Veo 3 Video Generator Now Available to Gemini AI Pro Subscribers

AI

Hey everyone! Google's making some serious moves in the AI video space. They've just started rolling out their new Veo 3 video generation model to Gemini users in over 159 countries. It's pretty cool, but there's a catch: it's only available to those who are subscribed to Google's AI Pro plan, so it's not free for everyone.

If you are a paying customer, you'll be able to create videos up to eight seconds long simply by typing in text prompts. Imagine the possibilities for quick social media content or even just messing around with creative ideas! However, there's a limit - you can only generate three videos per day, and I think that's more than enough for most users.

Google initially unveiled Veo 3 back in May, and now it's finally here for the masses. I'm curious to see how people are going to use this. Will we see an explosion of AI-generated content? Or will the limitations keep it a niche tool? Only time will tell.

And there's more on the horizon! According to Google's Josh Woodward, they're also working on adding image-to-video generation capabilities to Gemini. That would be a game-changer, letting you turn your photos into short video clips. Exciting times ahead, folks!
