Double the Vision: Two New Apple Studio Displays in the Works?
Alright, Apple fans, gather 'round! The rumor mill is churning again, and this time it's about something we can actually see and touch: new Studio Displays!
We've been hearing whispers about a potential refresh of the current Studio Display for a while now. But according to the ever-reliable Mark Gurman at Bloomberg, Apple might be planning something even bigger: two new models. That's right, double the display delight!
Gurman's sources are saying that these displays are currently code-named J427 and J527. What does that mean for us? Well, honestly, not much concrete yet. But it definitely suggests Apple is seriously invested in the monitor game.
So, What Can We Expect?
The current 27-inch Studio Display has been around for three years, and the Pro Display XDR is even older. Gurman suggests a couple of possibilities:
- Apple might be developing both J427 and J527 and will ultimately pick the best one to release. Think of it as an internal competition!
- Or, even more exciting, we could be looking at two distinct models. Perhaps one with a different screen size or a completely different set of features. Maybe a super-high refresh rate for gamers? (Okay, maybe I'm dreaming a little.)
It's all speculation at this point, but one thing's for sure: the display landscape is about to get a whole lot more interesting. Stay tuned for more updates as we get them!
